Chi Studios is once again open to commissions. Before e-mailing your request however, please read through ALL of the following restrictions. E-mails which request something which has already been specified as not being acceptable will be deleted and no reply will be sent, since you'll have already proved that you cannot read. People who can read however, are happilly welcomed to continue browsing, and those who can follow instructions are even more welcome! (^__^)v
- Original Characters may be refused at my discretion. Sorry, I know that's what 90% of you want, but these commissions are too difficult to manage on a schedule. I cannot draw a character who is "dominating but submissive" or "confrontational and shy." And since the majority of these are based off an existing character, that has been tweaked in ways the creator can't usually accurately express, it ends up being disappointing for all. Requests for original character commissions must go through a rigorous screening process and you MUST have photo reference for them.
- Children are not images for erotica. Teenagers are not images for erotica. If you want Heero from Gundam Wing in the shower, he's going to be an 18 year old Heero, and more specifically, MY image of an 18 year old Heero. No discussion. Erotica can be any artfully portrayed semi or total nudity, which means the final decision of what is erotica lies with me. I am not going to draw pictures of children that I feel are going to be oogled in naughty ways.
- You are commissioning ME. Not Yuu Watase, not Tito Kubo, not Ozaki Minami. ME. The eyes won't take up half of their face, their hair will not look like a tentacle monster perched atop their head, and bed sheets and tasteful angles may be involved. I try to blend my style with the original... but if there's just too much different you're going to get ME, so make sure you like ME before you ask and then complain that it doesn't look "right" compared to the original. You can always e-mail the original artists with your request and hope you get lucky.
- I am not a printer. You can push "send file" 483574938529 times and I will not spit out a beautiful print in 35 seconds or less. I work. I eat. I sleep. All things that are generally positive as if I did not do them I would be dead and your artwork would never be done. Time estimates are given but they are estimates only. Please check this section for an updates page that will list tentative dates of completion, but kindly be patient as 38275398725 requests of "Hi I commissioned you last logon / last night / last week / last month / last con season and haven't got it yet" just makes it harder for me to draw since then I feel guilty and tired and over stressed. If you can't be REALLY patient, please ask someone with a reputation for speed instead.
