About Chi Studios Illustration
Chi Studios was formed in 2002 by Leanne Peacey as a means of promoting her various art styles. As Chi Studios Illustration, she has shown her work nationally at galleries and shows of varying background and attendance, from Hive Artspace to Otakon to PAX! Unplugged.
Born in South California, Leanne has lived on both coasts as well as spending five years living in Quebec as a young teen. For college, she moved to Beverly, Massachusetts, earning her BFA in Illustration from Montserrat College of Art. Currently, she resides in south Central Pennsylvania, herding a small neurodivergent circus as she works.
Her work encompasses quirky whimsical chibis, to empowered Fae, to Goddesses and imperiled mortals, Steam-powered pirates and handsome devils. Her art is influenced by Japanese Woodblocks, early American 19th century comics and caricatures, and a desire to evoke emotion and connection through linework and color. Trained in traditional watercolor and media, she frequently can be seen at conventions working on pieces as guests observe.
Leanne Peacey is self-represented and takes clients on a limited basis. Inquire about her availability:
