My work focuses on inclusivity and diversity through illustrations inspired by fairytales, myths, and fandoms, combining them in various ways to create original pieces of work that can connect with people on visual and emotional level. My mediums of choice tend to be watercolors and Copic markers. My favorite way to connect is at conventions - which I have been vending at for nearly twenty years - finding connection with both old and new fans through my art and my chibi caricature commissions. The concept of affordable, accessible art is a core belief for me, and through these events, I’ve been able to reach thousands of people over the years.
After graduating in 2004 from Montserrat College of Art with a Bachelors of Fine Art in Illustration, I spent over a decade working in the Photography field as a photographer, image editing specialist, and photo manipulations expert. I have also worked in the fashion industry over the course of my career, from an internship at Sigrid Olsen up to running my own specialty fashion shop for a short time.
As a freelance illustrator and designer have worked to help customers create custom branding, logo, and label work. Additional areas of expertise include custom consulting and critique, aiding clients in expanding the reach of their work, while helping niche market clients both perfect their presentation and better understand their market.
As a small business owner, my work has been available via Etsy, Hot Topic, Redbubble, Hive Artspace in York PA, and at various small business.
